Our beach respite houses include the Believe In Tomorrow Children's House By The Sea on 66th Street, The Children's House By The Sea II on 65th Street, and the Believe In Tomorrow House On the Bay on 28th Street (all in Ocean City, MD), as well as the Believe In Tomorrow House on Fenwick Island in the Mallard Lakes community of Fenwick Island, DE.

Cookie Baking for Hospital Housing

Add some sweetness by offering our hospital housing families some delicious treats as they are walking to or returning from the hospital. Bring your own ingredients and join us to bake cookies (or any kind of baked goods) at The Residence Inn Johns Hopkins where our families are staying. The wonderful smells will bring warmth, smiles and happy bellies. (2-3 volunteers max due to limited space)

Annual Benefit & Auction Event

We are looking for volunteers for our annual Benefit & Auction on June 18th, 2026 in Baltimore. This is our largest fundraising event of the year and we need dedicated volunteers who are enthusiastic and ready to help provide a wonderful experience for our attendees!  

Some volunteer tasks include: working registration tables, working the auction table, bid spotters, raffle tickets selling, greeters, bar runners, and more!  Some tasks require being comfortable on a laptop/ipad.  (training will be provided)

The event is from 6pm-10pm.  Depending on your assignment will depend how early you arrive before the event.  We will provide a meal and free parking.  

Age 21+ is preferred.  Minimum age is 18.  

Family Suppers for Hospital Housing

Come host and prepare in-person or sponsor a delicious dinner for our families at The Residence Inn Johns Hopkins which is our temporary home for families while the new Children's House is being built. Volunteers are providing more than just a meal, you are adding to the home away from home environment our families need as they navigate their child's illness.
We are serving a much smaller number of families during this interim time, so 2-3 volunteers max are appropriate for the space. You would bring the food/ingredients, but we have all the kitchen supplies! We will provide more details if interested!

The House on Wisp Mountain and The House At Deep Creek Lake – Western Maryland

Do you live near Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland? Visit often and looking for a way to give back to the community? The Believe In Tomorrow House on Wisp Mountain and House at Deep Creek Lake are beautiful log cabins that provide a sanctuary for critically ill children and their families.
